Finance & Admin Worker, Volunteer Centre Lewisham
Salary: NJC Scale 6 pt 26 £22, 221 per annum plus London Weighting pro rata
21 hours per week, 1 year contract
Volunteer Centre Lewisham need a well organised part time worker with great multitasking and communications skills to look after their day to day finance and administration. The role includes regular financial reporting and recording, production of quarterly management accounts, being the first point of contact for the organisation, coordinating management committee meetings, managing room bookings and supporting office based volunteers and the team as needed.

Volunteering Development & Support Officer, Samaritans
Salary £26,703 – £27,555 per annum, based Ewell, Surrey
Fixed term contract to 30 September 2012
Samaritans are looking for a Volunteering Development and Support Officer to help provide advice and support on volunteering best practice to their branches. The role focuses on retention and motivation of volunteers, including handling volunteer problem solving procedures.
Good knowledge of volunteering management and good practice is therefore vital. With around 18,500 active volunteers in a number of roles (including management) across the UK and Republic of Ireland, Samaritans is a volunteer led organisation. This is a key role supporting the way Samaritans’ 201 branches manage and engage their volunteers.
