Haringey Volunteer Centre promotes and supports the development of volunteering in the London Borough of Haringey. Their main activity is to recruit and place volunteers within not-for-profit organisation through their Volunteering Service. They also seek to raise awareness of the benefits that volunteering can offer individuals, organisations and the community, create more volunteering opportunities, by helping voluntary, community and public sector organisations develop new roles for volunteers, develop organisations, building their capacity to recruit, supervise and manage volunteers effectively and campaign for increased funding and resources to develop volunteering in Haringey.
