Kingston Volunteer Centre (KVC) exists to promote and develop volunteering in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. They provide advice and information to people interested in volunteering and matches their skills to organisations who register volunteering opportunities with them. Kingston Volunteer Centre has over 190 organisations registered to whom they refer volunteers to. Last year they registered 900 plus potential volunteers. They actively promote volunteering through the internet, their web-site, through a newsletter, through information and advice days, through the media and through one to one sessions with people expressing an interest in volunteering.
